• HarperCollins has signed a multi-year publishing deal with Spin Master for its video game brand Toca Boca. Under the partnership, HarperCollins has worldwide English-language rights, and its imprints Farshore and HarperPop took local rights for Europe. A lead book entitled Welcome to Toca Boca Sticker Book (pictured) will be published in the UK and the US in April, and the rest of the activity and sticker book range for kids ages eight to 12 will hit shelves throughout 2026 and into 2027.

• Banijay Kids & Family has renewed the BBC’s rights to seasons one to three (78 x 11 minutes) of Tiger Aspect Kids & Family’s 2D-animated preschool series Charlie and Lola. And Dutch channel StoryZoo has picked up seasons one and two for its Storyzoo & Friends channel in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

• Golden Peak Live Entertainment’s Mundo Pixar Experience is coming to London’s Wembley Park on February 13, marking its debut in the UK market. Featuring multi-sensory elements, the exhibition will house 14 Pixar-inspired sets, including Andy’s room from Toy Story, the Monsters, Inc factory, and the headquarters of Riley’s emotions from Inside Out 2. Mundo has already generated some impressive numbers in Brazil, Mexico, Belgium and Spain, where it has attracted 3.2 million global visitors so far. Golden Peak is presenting the experience in collaboration with Proactiv Entertainment, RG Live, Senbla and Luna.

• Basic Fun! has tapped YouTube influencer Like Nastya (131 million YouTube subscribers) as a brand partner for Littlest Pet Shop, promoting the toys in a series of her YouTube videos. Basic Fun! and Hasbro relaunched the 30-year-old Littlest Pet Shop brand last year.

• More Diary of a Wimpy Kid is on the way. Puffin has closed a deal with author Jeff Kinney to write a second spinoff volume of spooky stories—Rowley Jefferson’s Awesome Friendly Spooky Stories 2—which is scheduled to hit shelves next August. There are 20 books in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series, and the franchise hit 300 million in copies sold worldwide this year.
