- Shelley Macintyre has quietly been elevated to interim CEO of BBC Studios’ brands & licensing unit—which has been focused on growing key brands like Bluey and Doctor Who. She replaces Nicki Sheard, who is exiting the BBC after five years to start a new career chapter at fashion brand Me+Em. Macintyre has spent a little over a year installed as SVP of marketing for BBC Studios, and she worked in brand management gigs at Unilever and The Coca-Cola Company before that.
- Moonbug has recruited Amrita Sindhu as its new head of distribution and partnerships for the APAC region, replacing Yasmin Zahid in the position. It’s a familiar market for Sindhu, whose past roles include SVP of licensing for Asia (Fremantle) and senior director of commercial for APAC (NBCUniversal). She’ll be reporting to Nicolas Eglau, Moonbug’s MD of EMEA, APAC and global distribution.
