- MGA Entertainment has inked a deal with Microsoft’s Mojang Studios to produce the first Minecraft Miniverse range of micro-collectibles (pictured). A dozen blind-box SKUs will roll out to retailers worldwide next week, featuring buildable displays of iconic in-game items such as the diamond sword, TNT brick and furnace.
- BBC Studios has partnered with the UK’s Bluewater Shopping Centre to host a Bluey-themed Australian Christmas celebration. Running over two weekends at the end of November, the attraction will feature meet-and-greets with Bluey and Bingo, and the opportunity to take family pictures at a re-creation of the blue heeler pup’s home, decorated for the holiday season, of course.
- The Science Museum Group has teamed up with the BBC to construct an exhibition for kids themed around the Horrible Science brand. This Cosmic Chaos exhibit will debut at the Science and Industry Museum in Manchester next February, featuring interactive experiments and challenges that teach kids about the solar system. After more than a year-long run, the exhibit will then move to London’s Science Museum in March 2027.
