- Merlin Entertainments and BBC Studios are collaborating again to build the world’s first Bluey rollercoaster. The attraction will be built at England’s 500-acre Alton Towers Resort as part of its growing CBeebies Land theme park. The coaster is slated to open to the public next spring, joining an existing lineup of Bluey-themed hotel rooms, an In the Night Garden boat ride and a Hey Duggee play area.
- Hasbro has formed a multi-year pact with Disney to create new ranges of co-branded Play-Doh sets. The first collection of five Disney Jr. SKUs launched today on Amazon, including a stamp & go pack and on-the-go playsets featuring characters from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. More Disney-branded products will roll out first on Amazon throughout the year before Hasbro expands the line to major retailers early next year.
- Banijay Kids & Family has partnered with TheSoul Publishing to produce a set of three videos on the 5-Minute Crafts channel inspired by the Totally Spies! series. The videos will debut later this year across TheSoul’s YouTube, FAST and AVOD channels. This partnership builds on an earlier agreement between the two companies, which saw Banijay add preschool titles Mister Maker, Let’s Play and Lilybuds to TheSoul’s digital platforms in 2023.
- Plush-maker Teddy Mountain has added Haylett Entertainment’s CG-animated holiday special Piney: The Lonesome Pine to its licensed portfolio. The products will roll out to mass and specialty retailers across the US, UK, EU and LatAm in Q4 2026 and will feature fully stuffed and DIY kits of Georgie and Piney.
- LA-based toyco Sky Castle has signed up as a new licensee for Jazwares and tokidoki to expand its flagship toy brand Sticki Rolls worldwide. Under the agreement, Sky Castle will manufacture and distribute licensed ranges of Sticki Rolls products to retailers worldwide next year, starting with a tokidoki collection of playful stickers, pendants and blind capsules in summer, closely followed by an identical Squishmallows collab in the fall.
