Oni Press writes a new chapter for Archie

The US publisher has partnered with Archie Comics Publications to roll out a line of reimagined monthly comics and graphic novels based on the 80-year-old Archie franchise. Titles featuring characters from Archie and Sabrina the Teenage Witch are expected to hit US shelves in the second half of 2026, and then the companies will roll out a line of middle-grade and young adult graphic novels the following year. An Archie feature film from Universal Pictures and Spider-Verse producers Phil Lord and Christopher Miller is in the works, taking the baton from the IP’s most recent entertainment vehicle, tween/teen CW series Riverdale.

Blippi and Dr. Seuss cross over

The latest brand collab in the kids space is an unexpected one. Dr. Seuss Enterprises and Moonbug have joined forces to make a series of four live-action YouTube videos in which The Grinch and the Cat in the Hat meet Blippi. Released today on the Blippi and Dr. Seuss YouTube channels, the first two episodes are all about Blippi trying to bring holiday cheer to the Grinch by making gingerbread houses, dancing and playing games. The next two eps drop on February 27, just ahead of Dr. Seuss’s March 2 birthday, featuring Blippi and the Cat in the Hat playing games and singing. This is the first time the Dr. Seuss channel has teamed up with any other creators.

BBC Studios lights up Bluey licensing down under

British toyco Paladone has inked a deal to bring its range of Bluey night lights and alarm clocks to the Australian market in early 2026. Before this expansion, Paladone’s license only covered EMEA, Mexico and LatAm. The company manufactures licensed lighting, drinkware, homeware, puzzles & games and health & beauty products, and some of its other licenses include Barbie, Batman, Spider-Man and Care Bears.

Gamefam scores with FIFA in Roblox

The Roblox developer has rebranded its popular soccer game Super League Soccer, which gets 10.4 million monthly active users, as FIFA Super Soccer to help the league reach a new audience. As part of the deal, designed to advance FIFA’s goal of reaching younger Gen Alpha and Gen Z fans ahead of the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2026, users can now play as official national teams and unlock gear tied to this major football tournament.
