The toy line—pictured above, featuring characters like Chef Hatchet, Gwen and Owen—will launch at the end of the month and remain available for a four-week period online. Youtooz specializes in limited-edition drops and licenses IPs with multi-generational fandoms like Harry Potter, Yu-Gi-Oh! and Peanuts.

Iron Boy seals the deal with Sony at Cannes

Sony Pictures Classics has locked down rights in North America and Latin America for this French-Belgian all-ages indie animated feature directed by Louis Clichy, who was an animator on Pixar films like Wall-E and Up. Under the agreement, Sony has also secured TV rights in India and Southeast Asia. Also bound for Annecy, Eddy Cinema’s Iron Boy (or Le Corset in French) tells the story of a music-loving farm boy who wears an iron corset to stay upright.

Supergirl puts together a busy L&M program

WBD Global Consumer Products isn’t short on collabs for its DC superhero movie tentpole. In addition to some recently-teased Funko figures and a McFarlane Toys line, the division is teaming with Mattel for a Barbie Signature DC Supergirl doll. And among other kids-focused deals, Rubies is on board to roll out Supergirl costumes for all ages, while Random House Children’s Books is giving Kara Zor-El the Little Golden Book treatment.
