Jazwares ups Jeremy Padawer to president
With current president Laura Zebersky set to depart in March, along with her husband and CEO Judd Zebersky, the toyco has promoted its chief brand officer to replace her. Padawer (pictured) joined the company in 2019 after Jazwares acquired Wicked Cool Toys, where he was installed as co-CEO and president. In the years since, Padawer has brought in a lot of licenses to bolster Jazwares’ toy portfolio, including brands like Pokémon, Roblox, Hello Kitty, Fortnite and Crunchyroll.
A brand shift for BBC Studios’ Dwayne Clarke
After three years as the UK & EMEA marketing lead for BBC Studios’ kids & family catalogue, Dwayne Clarke’s remit has been narrowed to focus exclusively on flagship preschool brand Bluey. Clarke has already developed and executed many marketing campaigns in these markets for the iconic blue heeler pup, and also Hey Duggie, Supertato, Blue Peter and The Primrose Railway Children.
Sky New Zealand’s originals chief is exiting
Thomas Robins will step down after three years in the role, during which time he commissioned shows including The Ridge with the BBC and Not Even. While Robins transitions back to freelance work, Sky NZ’s non-scripted senior commissioner Nick Ward will replace him as originals chief
