The 75th-annual Nuremberg Toy Fair officially kicked off today, and Netflix has already left its mark on the event by unveiling its first toy ranges for KPop Demon Hunters from co-master toy partners Hasbro and Mattel. 

The rival toycos made history when they picked up joint rights to KPDH in October, and they’ve rapidly developed several SKUs to roll out to retailers worldwide starting this spring. 

Leading the way with the most products in its pipeline is Mattel, starting with three American Girl versions of Rumi, Zoey and Mira that will hit shelves in November. Each Huntr/x doll comes with their character’s signature outfit from the film’s opening number, as well as their iconic demon-slaying weapons. The Barbie-maker isn’t stopping there in the dolls category, though. It’s also producing a range of poseable fashion dolls that brings the Saja Boys into the mix. 

Mattel’s range will be rounded out with four lines of KPDH-branded collectibles, spanning blind-box figures, keychains, two Little People collections and miniature Polly Pocket playsets for each member of the main cast. 

While Mattel may have the monopoly on action figures and dolls, Hasbro is looking to own role-play with its NERF adaptations of spirit weapons belonging to Rumi, Zoey and Mira. Meanwhile, in electronics, a brand-new Furby SKU with a pelt inspired by Derpy the Tiger and more than 45 sounds and interactions from the feature film will take center stage. And yes, a KPDH edition of Monopoly is on the way, too.

Hopefully this accelerated push into consumer products is enough to tide fans over until the sequel film arrives in 2029.
