Miraculous gets into the family entertainment center biz
Miraculous Corp has teamed up with Ground Control Entertainment to build the first Miraculous Adventure FEC (pictured) in the Middle East. The attraction will open its doors in Doha’s Mall of Qatar this spring, featuring multiple themed play zones that can entertain up to 200 kids at a time. It will also have an on-site cafe and retail space to sell exclusive merchandise.

Zeptolab has sold its flagship 2D-animated series to Warner Bros. Discovery, which now has streaming and exclusive pay-TV rights across the Indian subcontinent for Cartoon Network, POGO, Discovery Kids and Discovery+. Meanwhile, Media Squad will distribute the toon to digital platforms in Eastern Europe.
Netflix hires a new licensing agent in Australia/New Zealand
The Merchantwise Group will develop and execute L&M programs across the region, working closely with Netflix to identify titles and franchises that are ripe for expansion. And the streamer is encouraging Merchantwise to sign new deals with local licensees that are better connected to fandoms in these markets.
The Pinkfong Company dives deeper into live shows
The Korean prodco has partnered with Terrapin Station Entertainment to develop a new live show experience inspired by K-pop and featuring Pinkfong, Baby Shark and Bebefinn. Terrapin will share more details and tour dates in the spring, but the show will appeal to kids with music, dance numbers and interactive elements.
Midolala to rep sales for Amuse Animation’s catalogue in China
With more than 2,000 episodes of content to manage, the French distributor wants to build a network of Chinese VOD, IPTV and OTT broadcasters that will run Amuse titles including Car City, Tiny Trucks, AnimaCars and Increditales in the region.
